In 2019, Artcurial, with a strong historical presence in Morocco, opened a subsidiary in Marrakech. With this opening the firm strengthened its presence throughout the world as well as its international network in order to offer a local service to its foreign clients.
Under the direction of Olivier Berman, the firm, with offices in the Hivernage district, is developing strong links with local players and clients and offers several auction sessions per year. Artcurial is a major player in Orientalist works, artists from North Africa and the Middle East, as well as African Contemporary Art. Outstanding results have been achieved for Mohamed Melehi, Hassan El Glaoui, Chaïbia Talal and Baya, along with record-breaking auction prices for Abdoulaye Konaté and Mona Saudi.
The company’s specialists regularly travel to Morocco by appointment, when they can establish with you the most appropriate sales strategy for your property. They also offer tailor-made advice in the context of inheritance or insurance inventories.
