Consign Now: Artcurial Prepares Its Upcoming Prestige Auctions at La Mamounia, Marrakech

On November 1st and December 30th, Artcurial will host two exceptional auctions at La Mamounia, the legendary palace hotel in Marrakech. The auctions will present artworks by Jacques Majorelle, José Cruz Herrera, and Alexandre Roubtzoff, as well as leading modern and contemporary artists from North Africa, the Middle East, and Africa, including Mohamed Melehi, Chaïbia Talal, and Malick Sidibé.

The Moroccan & African Spirit auction will celebrate modern and contemporary artists from the Maghreb, the Middle East, and Africa. Notable lots to be auctioned include works by Mohamed Melehi, a key figure of Moroccan modernism, as well as Chaïbia Talal, Farid Belkahia, André Elbaz, Aboudia, and the renowned Malian photographer Malick Sidibé.

Our Middle Eastern & North African Art and Contemporary African Art departments are available to offer free and confidential valuations of artworks by Mohamed Melehi, Mona Saudi, Baya, Abdoulayé Konaté, Seydou Keïta, Pilipili Mulongoy, and others.

For the prestigious A Moroccan Winter auction, Artcurial will unveil a superb selection of works by Jacques Majorelle, including Anemiter (1950) which reflects the artist's interest for the majestic Kasbahs of the High Atlas Mountains. An exceptional work by Alexandre Roubtzoff, Le Mausolée de Sidi Abdallah, will also be offered for sale for the first time.
