Launched by Honda in 1990, the NSX was a genuine supercar, a showcase for the company’s know-how which deployed all the latest technology. Its rear mid-mounted 3.0-litre V6 engine developed 274bhp at 7300rpm, enabling it to go from 0-100kph in less than 6 seconds and reach a top of speed of 270kph. Despite being good-looking, fast, reliable and comfortable, it had a modest career, especially in Europe, and cars equipped with the removable Targa top, like the model presented here, are even rarer. This example is truly exceptional, as it was sold new in October 1998 by the Honda dealer in Vernier, in Switzerland, to the current owner’s father. A rare Targa model, it has the sought-after manual gearbox and desirable ‘Charlotte Green’ paintwork. This lovely NSX was then registered in France in 2001 and driven regularly, as can be seen from the service book, which is stamped up to 64,606km in 2016. In 2021, the odometer was reading 67,784km and is now showing just over 68,500km. An oil change has just been carried out and the filters replaced, together with an overhaul of the power steering. In original condition, this European NSX-T has a rare and sought-after specification, while its clear history and low mileage will ultimately win over those in the know.
