A mechanical masterpiece, the 5L V12 engine producing 300 hp, a unique design by Klaus Kapitza and a high level of technicality: this is what the 850i offered when it was launched in 1989, immediately becoming a reference within the large sports coupe segment.
This example was sold new on 27 September 1991 by the BMW dealership in Evreux, as confirmed by its service book, stamped by the same dealer until 2016, with 152,656 km on the clock. In a rare and desirable 'Calypso Red' colour, combined with a superb black leather interior, it features the 6-speed manual gearbox sought after by connoisseurs. Its current owner was able to acquire it in 2017, and the following year the car benefitted from a full repaint in its original colour at the renowned Gérard Jourdan body shop in Menton. In 2021, at 158,320 km, the car was serviced and has been driven very little since then, totalling just under 159,000 km. Carefully preserved, this flagship model of the BMW range boasts a rare condition both inside and out, and with its sought-after specification, it will delight fans of the model and lovers of comfortable travel at high speeds.
