This Giulietta was delivered new at the end of 1957 by Hoffman Motor Company of New York in its red color, according to the Museo Alfa Romeo archives. In 1962, the car was resold to its second owner who gave it to his daughter as a gift after graduating from university. In 1996, a San Diego dealer seems to have taken ownership of the car, and sold it in 2009, when it was in California (registration number JVT-713). It then passed into the hands of Mr Laimler, a Belgian collector who undertook extensive work in Italy and subsequently registered the car in Germany in 2010. He then sold it to the Legend Drive garage in Brussels, which in turn sold it to the BW garage in Berkshire in 2013 (registration 392 YUT). In 2014, Mr. Simon Bushell bought it, finally selling it to its current owner in early 2020.

This car is in beautiful condition and runs superbly, and its owner, a keen Italian car enthusiast, has decided to part with it due to lack of use. It is still fitted with its type 1315 engine from the right year, and a manufacturer's plate attached to the front hood confirms the engine's serial number.

The Giulietta Spider is one of the most beautiful convertibles of its time, loved by fans of the brand, especially with its short chassis. This is an opportunity to acquire one of the few healthy, well-functioning examples with a known history.
