- One of the few examples sold in France in 1986

Sold new on 24 October 1986 by the International Garage (Var), this Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet was bought on 15 September 2009 by its current owner, who has thus been its keeper for 17 years. It has some interesting equipment, including the rare optional limited-slip differential (M220) and anti-theft device (M533), to which a hydraulic system to lock the wheels was later added, as well as Fuchs 16-inch wheels all round, electrically-adjustable and heated seats, a wind deflector, a tool kit with a tyre compressor, and a protective cover for indoor use. With a total of 266,800 km, the car has been presented for its safety inspection 11 times since 2006. Several mechanical jobs have recently been undertaken: the brake discs and pads, tyres, oil pipes and windscreen have all been replaced, Bilstein shock absorbers fitted and an annual service and oil change carried out. In addition, the Porsche has received significant attention to its bodywork: the rusty parts have been stripped down and repaired, the seals replaced and the car given a full repaint in its original shade of blue.

Attractively presented today and with its mechanics overhauled, this Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet will let its new owner drop the hood and enjoy the power and inimitable sound of its 3.2-litre air-cooled flat-six. A set of sensations that only cars of this type and period are able to deliver.
