This Mini Marcos was purchased by its current owner from a Danish collector, who had imported it from England in 2011 before carrying out a complete restoration, followed by meticulous preparation as a racing car, as evidenced by numerous photos online. The car benefited from numerous works carried out by Garage de Damiers between 2022 and 2023, including the running gear, the electrics and the engine, naturally. A file of invoices totalling approximately €44,000 bears witness to this.
In 2025, the gearbox housing was replaced and a new invoice for €4,500 documents the work carried out, including the replacement of the clutch. This little firecracker achieved very respectable results in several races of the 2024 Historic Tour, and then took part in just one track day at Mas du Clos in 2025. With a PTH issued in 2023, this Mini Marcos is ready to race and its engine has only 8 hours on the clock. Painted in the livery of the famous number 50 car which distinguished itself in the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing the race in 15th place overall, this example evokes the exceptional performance of this model, thanks to its extremely favourable power-to-weight ratio.
