1970 Porsche 911 2.2L S Targa
This 2.2S was delivered new in Italy on the 28th October 1970; it was then painted in Pastel Blue (code 2010) with a black faux leather interior (code 1) and fitted with Michelin tyres. In the mid-2010s, a Parisian dealer acquired the car and carried out a high-quality restoration at Autoelite near Modena in Italy. Nothing was left to chance: the bodywork was stripped down and repainted in its original colour, the mechanic was completely refurbished and the upholstery was redone with Recaro seats and Pepita fabric. The result is absolutely stunning, and rightly so: in 2022, the current owner immediately fell in love with it and gifted it to his wife. Since then, the car has rarely been driven and remains in pristine condition, much as it was when the restoration was completed.
This gorgeous Targa therefore ticks all the boxes for enthusiasts of this model: the most powerful version, a superb and rare original colour, its original engine and a high-quality restoration, along with numerous invoices and important documents such as the Porsche certificate and a copy of the datacard.
As a model rarely restored with such care, this 2.2 S Targa is currently in particularly sound condition, combining stunning looks with a beautifully restored engine. Its documented history, original engine and restoration faithful to its original specification make it a particularly desirable example, ready to hit the road in the hands of a discerning enthusiast.
