Only 7,300km and one owner from new, a desirable specification, rare accessories, full documentation and a major service in May 2026, all of this helps make this Carrera GT one of the most interesting examples available on the market.

Built in November 2004, it was bought new from the Porsche dealership at Francorchamps in Belgium at the end of 2005 with just 59km recorded, as our client was unable to find one in France. It has therefore had the code C22 from new, for cars supplied new in Belgium.

As is shown by the number 440 engraved on the centre console , it was the 440th of a total of 1270 cars built; finished in grey metallic (GT Silver Metallic, code LM7Z), it was equipped with several very interesting options, including a more powerful battery, headlamp washers, Carrera GT XT bucket seats with height adjustment, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an anti-theft device, air-conditioning, a ‘Porsche Online Pro’ radio/CD player and, most notably, a set of special luggage made in beautifully crafted ‘Ascot’ leather, in the same Terracotta colour than the seats, comprising a briefcase, travel bag, suit carrier and some small bags designed to fit inside the doors (option code 577).

The owner of this Carrera GT is a business owner and collector of beautiful things; a car enthusiast, he is a semi-professional rally driver who took part in the Dakar Rally several times between 1992 and 2024, finishing seventh in 1998, and won the Rally of Tunisia in 2008 with a Buggy Schlesser, as well as being a helicopter pilot (and owner of an Écureuil). He is therefore a knowledgeable user of a car as sophisticated as the Carrera GT. He initially registered the car in Luxembourg, before registering it in France in 2011. As a Porsche enthusiast, he always drove the car carefully in the best possible conditions, and as a stamp in the service book indicates, he sent the car to be serviced by Porsche Stuttgart in April 2012, when it had done 6790km. His professional commitments have not left him enough time to use the car and it for this reason that he is selling it. Exceptionally, he is the only person to have driven it since buying it new, and when the major service was carried out by the Porsche Centre at Vélizy, with the work undertaken by a specialist technician there, the clutch needed only to be cleaned, as it was still in perfect condition, reflecting the care with which the car has been driven. This service provided the opportunity to check all the mechanical components and to replace anything that needed it, with the total bill amounting to 71,852 euros. Some parts which need to be watched on this model were replaced on this occasion, and the shock absorbers, alternator and starter were therefore changed. The tyres are new and are the correct specification for this specific model. As the factory recommends, the camshafts were also replaced.

Thanks to the sparing use made of it, this Carrera GT is in impressive original condition today, including the interior with its signature Terracotta leather trim (code RZ), which is remarkably well-preserved, complemented by the carbon-fibre door cards and black carpets. It comes with its original luggage, a valuation report, its service bills and its books and manuals (Warranty/Service/Technical/Online Pro/Becker sound system).

It may be recalled that in the wake of the restructuring of Porsche’s range with the launch of the Cayenne in 2002, the Carrera GT was unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, after making its first appearance as a concept car at the Paris Motor Show in 2000. It was a supercar intended to compete with Ferrari, Lamborghini and Mercedes, and therefore featured the most advanced technology developed by the manufacturer from Stuttgart. Built around a composite structure, it had a body brilliantly styled by Harm Lagaay, suspension inspired by motorsport, carbon disc brakes and an engine based on a project intended for Formula 1. Completely rethought for road use, the 5.7-litre V10 developed 612bhp and took the supercar from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 330km/h. In addition to this exceptional performance, it also offered the pleasures of an open-top car, thanks to its detachable roof panels.

The example presented here is a tribute to the technical and aesthetic demands of Porsche’s engineers. As one of the last single-owner Carrera GTs available on the market and in remarkable original condition, it represents a unique opportunity to acquire one of the best examples of this legendary machine, if not the very best.
