 Coming from the USA (Hawaii), this car was purchased in Sweden and imported to Finland. Its very poor condition gave the idea to modify it into this very unusual "Safari" project, reminiscent of the Porsche Singer or other 911s modified at the time.

The idea was that the transformation would be carried out according to the methods of the older times, only with sheet steel, without fiberglass. The car has been completely overhauled and worn parts replaced. It received custom made roll bar and protection bars, bucket seats with four-point TRS belts, and upholstery made by Verhoomo Harinen. It sits on Fuchs rims with Nokia Rockproof 225/75 R16 tyres, and a full spare wheel is fixed to the roof, along with three LED headlamps. The chosen color corresponds to the original Porsche color, metallic "Geminigrau". These careful modifications were carried out by Carace, a Porsche specialist. The engine and transmission were entrusted to the company Kiveriö customs Oy, including a Turbo-Thomas exhaust system. We would like to inform buyers that all of these modifications, carried out by professionals, have altered the car from its original specifications, and that it is no longer eligible for a Certificate of Conformity (COC) from Porsche. Potential bidders must check with the relevant authorities in their country regarding the options available for registering the car.

Since it was completed, this car has done only 300 km and at the Porsche Festival Finland 2022 and won the "Best of Show / People Choice". This very well-made Porsche "Safari" comes at just the right time, as Porsche has produced a modern Safari version of the 911.
