Venant des États-Unis (Hawaï), cette voiture a été achetée en Suède et importée en Finlande. Son état très médiocre a donné l'idée de la métamorphoser, débouchant sur ce très original projet "Safari", qui rappelle la Porsche Singer ou d’autres 911 modifiés à l'époque.

L'idée était que la transformation soit effectuée selon les méthodes des années anciennes, uniquement avec de la tôle d'acier, sans fibre de verre. La voiture a été entièrement révisée et les pièces usées remplacées. Elle a reçu un arceau et des barres de protection réalisées sur mesure, des sièges baquets avec ceintures TRS quatre points, et une sellerie réalisée par Verhoomo Harinen. Elle repose sur des jantes Fuchs chaussées de pneus Nokia Rockproof 225/75 R16, et une roue de secours complète est fixée sur le toit, ainsi que trois phares à LED. La couleur choisie correspond à la teinte Porsche d'origine, "Geminigrau" métallisé. Ces modifications soignées ont été menées à bien par Carace, une entreprise spécialisée Porsche. Le moteur et la transmission ont été confiés à la société Kiveriö customs Oy, avec système d'échappement Turbo-Thomas. Nous signalons aux acheteurs que l’ensemble de ces modifications effectuées par des professionnels a transformé la voiture par rapport à ses spécifications d’origine et qu’elle ne peut plus obtenir de COC de la part de Porsche. Il leur appartiendra donc de vérifier auprès des autorités compétentes de leur pays les possibilités permettant d’immatriculer la voiture. Depuis qu'elle est terminée, cette voiture n'a parcouru que 300 km et, lors du Porsche Festival de Finlande 2022, elle a remporté le "Best of Show / People Choice". Cette Porsche "Safari" très bien réalisée arrive à point nommé, Porsche ayant produit avec succès une version Safari moderne de la 911.

 Coming from the USA (Hawaii), this car was purchased in Sweden and imported to Finland. Its very poor condition gave the idea to modify it into this very unusual "Safari" project, reminiscent of the Porsche Singer or other 911s modified at the time.

The idea was that the transformation would be carried out according to the methods of the older times, only with sheet steel, without fiberglass. The car has been completely overhauled and worn parts replaced. It received custom made roll bar and protection bars, bucket seats with four-point TRS belts, and upholstery made by Verhoomo Harinen. It sits on Fuchs rims with Nokia Rockproof 225/75 R16 tyres, and a full spare wheel is fixed to the roof, along with three LED headlamps. The chosen color corresponds to the original Porsche color, metallic "Geminigrau". These careful modifications were carried out by Carace, a Porsche specialist. The engine and transmission were entrusted to the company Kiveriö customs Oy, including a Turbo-Thomas exhaust system. We would like to inform buyers that all of these modifications, carried out by professionals, have altered the car from its original specifications, and that it is no longer eligible for a Certificate of Conformity (COC) from Porsche. Potential bidders must check with the relevant authorities in their country regarding the options available for registering the car.

Since it was completed, this car has done only 300 km and at the Porsche Festival Finland 2022 and won the "Best of Show / People Choice". This very well-made Porsche "Safari" comes at just the right time, as Porsche has produced a modern Safari version of the 911.
