This car is characterised by its very low mileage of less than 13,400 km since new. As evidenced by its service logbook, it was delivered new via Samocar (a Ferrari dealership in Rome) to a Basel native based in Monaco. It was acquired from him by the current owner, who is also based in Monaco: he was one of his acquaintances and shared the same passion for watches and cars.

This car has always been serviced within the Ferrari network, either in Monaco or in Basel at Niki Hasler, an official Ferrari garage. These service records enable us to track its very respectable mileage; the last service was carried out in 2021 at 12,755 km by Cavallari Monaco Motors, including replacement of the belts. Consequently, this 550 Barchetta is in a rare well-preserved condition and its performance driving up the Turbie hill particularly impressed us. The Rosso Corsa paintwork is immaculate and the original interior (in an elegant dark grey colour) is well-preserved, with the seats and trim in good condition, apart from some slight peeling of the Alcantara which is slightly worn on the sides of the centre console – a common issue with this model.

Bearing the number 44 out of 448 produced, it comes with its tool kit (which seems to have never been used) and its folder containing the service logbook and owner’s manuals. Owned by just two previous owners and having led a quiet life in Monaco, this car is undoubtedly one of the finest Ferrari 550 Barchetta models available on the market.
