Produced in 1949, this highly elegant car is one of only 23 Bentley MkVI models manufactured by Park Ward as Drophead Coupe cars featuring this design. It also has the advantage of having undergone a high-quality restoration some fifteen years ago, which has just developed a patina over time, with Oxford blue paintwork combined with Tudor grey wings (a combination that is both understated and chic). The upholstery was reupholstered in red Mulberry leather and the woodwork was restored, enabling you to enjoy the charm and comfort of an interior worthy of a London club. The mohair-lined hood is blue, perfectly matching the rest of the car.

The engine compartment is in the same extremely well-maintained condition and the beautiful chrome grille is topped with the brand's distinctive "B" badge.

Thanks to its 4.3-litre 6-cylinder ‘semi-overhead valve’ engine (with overhead intake valves and side exhausts) developing almost 140 hp, this car could reach a top speed of 160 km/h, an impressive performance at a time when family saloon cars were limited to 90 km/h.

With its wrap-around wings giving it a particularly attractive and flowing shape, this Bentley MkVI retains the tradition of coachbuilt cars, unlike the saloon ones manufactured by Bentley. Easy to use, comfortable, spacious and refined, it is ideal for drives with family or friends, while also being perfectly suited to a wide variety of rallies, gatherings or concours.
