- Only 7,350 km from new
- Sold new by the Garage Dizier in Paris
- Incredibly original, never restored
- Exclusive model, well documented with service book, invoices, manuals and tools
It is its mileage from new – just 7,350km – which makes this car so remarkable and ensures that it is presented in such exceptional condition. This 964 Carrera RS left the factory on 5 January 1993 and is still finished in its original shade of black (L700), with a black interior, black and grey two-tone bucket seats and red seat belts. Entirely to its original specification, it comes with a file including copies of the order form and sales invoice when it was bought new from the Garage Dizier in the 17th arrondissement of Paris by M. Daude on 8 January 1993. It was then carefully looked after by its owner, who only covered a few thousand kilometres with the car. After this, it was owned by a collector from northern France, who had the car serviced by Porsche Rouen IMSA in 2018, when it had covered only 5,050km. A new brake servo was fitted at this time, and its service book was stamped for the first time. In 2021, the car changed hands and was serviced by Porsche Sonauto, when it had done 6,991km, getting the second stamp in its book. Purchased in 2022 with the odometer reading just 7,340km, it joined the collection of a major Porsche collector and was given a full service in April 2024 by a Porsche specialist, with the aim of keeping the car in the best possible condition.
A homologation model produced in limited quantities (2282 for this first series), the 964 Carrera RS was a high-performance version of the Carrera 2, inspired by the legendary Carrera RS from 1973. Powered by the 260bhp Type M64/03 air-cooled six-cylinder engine, and with a range of weight-saving measures which allowed a gain of some 130kg, the car offered a driving experience of rare intensity. Examples of this model with such low mileage and in such well-preserved condition are exceedingly rare, most of them having been heavily used or modified. This example is therefore certain to delight its new owner as he discovers the exceptional experience of driving a car that has been barely used.
