This tracked Lamborghini is particularly interesting as it is one of around ten prototypes produced with a three-wheel kit enabling it to travel on roads without its tracks damaging the pavement. A removable wheel was installed at the front, while at the rear, two large rims fitted with treaded tires were attached to the hub of the sprockets driving the tracks. This narrow vehicle demonstrates the future supercar manufacturer's ability to explore original avenues in the agricultural sector, where Ferruccio Lamborghini began his business after the war, becoming Italy's third largest tractor manufacturer. This rare model is equipped with a 1.5-liter, 26 hp, air-cooled, twin-cylinder Lamborghini diesel injection engine, connected to a gearbox with a reduction gear totaling 6 forward and 2 reverse gears. It has been completely restored to its original colors at a cost of around €35,850 and comes with a certificate of authenticity from FLC and which lists the existing tractors.
A rare, original piece in impeccable condition, this tracked vehicle recalls the supercar brand's early days and, as such, deserves the attention of collectors who will enjoy displaying it alongside a Lamborghini or any other sports car.
