These painted wood panels depicting splendid vases of flowers may be compared to the decoration of Bayt Ayanofara in Damascus, which the specialist of Damascene houses, Anke Scharrahs, dates to the first half of the eighteenth century (Anke Scharrahs, Damascene ‘Ajami Rooms: Forgotten Jewels of Interior Design, London, 2013, p. 67 and pp. 224–226).
