- A reliable pre-1914 model
- Side-valves engine
- Choice of bodywork style at restoration
- No reserve
Introduced in the manufacturer’s range in 1911 and produced until 1913, The X10 model was a 12 hp fitted with a 4-cylinder side-valve engine, a single-plate clutch and a 4-speed gearbox. Considered as a well-balanced and reliable car, it enjoyed true commercial success and the vast majority were bodied as torpedoes, like this particular example which was deprived of the rear part of its bodywork at an unknown stage. Discovered in the Aube region and owned by the family of our collector since 1980, this beautiful Panhard is equipped with removable Michelin wheels (which saved a significant amount of time when repairing punctures – very frequent during that time). It will be up to the new owner to choose between restoring the car to its original appearance or preparing it with a sportier two-seater bodywork. Either way, this is indeed an exciting project!
