- Sold new in Sweden
- Original engine
- Rare in such exceptional condition
- No reserve
First registered on 13 May 1965 in Sweden, this magnificent BMW was first owned by Mats Akerblom from Ulricehamn, as is marked on a plate inside the car. Rarely seen in our part of the world, the saloon is in exceptional condition. The bodywork, which is sound with well aligned panels, has been repainted in its original colour of pistachio green. Inside, the lavish interior is like new, yet has a touch of patina. The seats, trimmed in brown cloth and leatherette, are superb, and the carpets are protected by mats; the dashboard is equipped with the original instruments and a period Blaupunkt radio. The odometer is reading 31,726km and there are safety belts for the front-seat passengers. Under the bonnet, the 83bhp four-cylinder engine is original and we were able to observe well it works, as does the gearbox. The four Michelin tyres are from 2023 and in near-new condition. This sporty, elegant saloon is exceptionally well presented and is sure to satisfy the most demanding of collectors.
