As its serial number confirms, this Porsche cabriolet rolled off the production lines in 1963 and was registered in the Bergamo region of Italy in the early 1990s. It was then bought by Jean-Pierre Nylin in an auction conducted by Maître Poulain in March 2002. Originally an unusual shade of “Smyrna Green” REF 6210, the car was earlier restored, when it was repainted in a darker green, also very attractive. The beige leather upholstery was also restored in the past and is now in good condition with a nice patina. The soft top is intact, but with some moisture stains. The engine is the right type (616/1) and its serial number corresponds to the year 1963. The previous restoration could be resumed after what should be an easy restart and a general servicing; it had 97,281 km on the clock in 2022 and 97,315 today. Reliable, stylish and easy to drive, the 356 cabriolet is a must-have for all Porsche enthusiasts, and for 60s convertible enthusiasts in general.
Buyers are informed that all vehicles in the collection have seen limited use in recent years, having been part of a museum display. They are therefore sold as-is, require restarting, are not covered by a valid roadworthiness inspection, and will need full recommissioning before being driven on public roads.
