This Ferrari Testarossa, a “monodado” version with central wheel nuts rather than the later five-bolt versions, was sold new on 14th October 1987 to Giorgio Zancanaro, who registered it VR804258. Zancanaro was a baritone opera singer who lived in Verona and performed on stages such as Covent Garden in London and the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

In 1988, this Testarossa went to the Sicilian collector A. di Stefano, based in Syracuse, who kept it until 1999. He then sold it to the specialist Autoluce in Modena, who in turn sold it to a lady in Reggio Emilia. In 2004, this Ferrari was purchased through a Modena dealer by a collector from Forli, who sold it to its current owner.

This is a stand-out Ferrari Testarossa with a rare color combination of white paintwork and blue leather interior. A rare combination not unlike the Testarossa in the series “Miami Vice”, delivered in black from the factory but repainted white for a more exclusive look. It replaced the Ferrari Daytona Spyder in the first two seasons of the famous series, and caused a sensation in the hands of Don Johnson, alias James “Sonny” Crockett!

Today, this car is in superb condition, with its impressive white livery and original interior in classy dark blue. The handsome bucket seats have barely acquired a patina, the interior is impeccable, and the clean engine compartment lets you admire the magnificent 390 hp 5-litre 12-cylinder flat engine. This exclusive Testarossa comes with its service book, which includes servicing by Motor Service, Modena, in 1991 (10,000 km), 2000 (20,000 km), 2002 (30,000 km) and 2003 (40,000 km). The clock now shows some 50,000 km. It was fully serviced in 2024, including a replacement the timing belt, and we note the presence of the tool kit.

This is a particularly desirable example in terms of condition, provenance and unmatched colour combination: it will definitely stand out from all other Testarossas!
