- Model symbolizing the brand's sporting comeback
- Styling reminiscent of Paul Smart and the 750 SS
- A promise of thrills on the handlebars
- Collection of an enthusiast from Marseille
- No reserve
This Ducati 900 SS rolled off the production line in 1982, the last year of production, and was bought from a motorcyclist in the Var region in 2019 by its current owner, a major collector from Marseille. It was in its original, mechanically sound condition. It was completely dismantled for a cosmetic overhaul, with frame paint and trim reminiscent of Paul Smart, and the mythical 750 SS, green frame and forkhead, grey tank and seatback. There are a few streaks on the paintwork on the fiberglass tank, but otherwise this bike is in beautiful condition. It has been looked after since 2021 by Sun Moto in Marseille, and last serviced in 2025.
Emblematic of the brand's sporting comeback, and able to guarantee thrills thanks to its excellent roadholding and engine character, the 900 SS succeeded the 750 SS, whose V-twin architecture with desmodromic valve timing it adopted. This example is a fine representative of this classic with a strong personality.
