Bought in Alsace in 2020 by its current owner, a passionate collector based in Marseille, this authentic Ducati 900 MHR is very well preserved, very close to its original condition. Since purchase, it has been serviced by Sun Moto in Marseille, the latest in 2025 and has received a clean MOT. At the time of taking the photos, the odometer read 33,380 km, which is likely the original mileage.
This model was created following Mike Hailwood's victory in the 1978 Isle of Man TT, aboard a Ducati NCR. The manufacturer decided to build on this success by proposing a Ducati Mike Hailwood Replica (MHR) one year later, directly derived from the 900 SS, including for its engine and frame. It was the first mass-produced Ducati to feature full bodywork: reminiscent of the 1978 Ducati NCR, but with a colour that evoked the bike ridden by Mike Hailwood the following year. The model then underwent various upgrades, including an electric starter in 1983. This example is fitted with one, and will enable its new owner to make the most of the sporting qualities of this magnificent machine with complete peace of mind.
