Ayant fait entre 2015 et 2017 l'objet d'une restauration complète sans considération de coût, sous la supervision de Fritz Neuser, cette voiture est aujourd'hui dans un état enviable. Fritz Neuser avait de l’affection pour cette voiture qu’il avait toujours connu, en effet à la suite d’un accident elle avait déjà été réparée en 1977 dans les locaux d'Auto-Neuser, alors qu'elle affichait quelque 5 500 km. Elle a poursuivi une existence paisible jusqu'à sa remise en état plus récente et, depuis 2015, elle est restée dans la collection Neuser.

La peinture rouge est impeccable sur des ouvrants correctement alignés et les jantes ne présentent pas de trace de choc. Dans l'habitacle, la sellerie beige en simili et tissu est particulièrement chic, de même que le tableau de bord superbe avec ses sept compteurs, derrière le volant doté d'un écusson Dino. L'équipement comporte un système de climatisation et le kilométrage affiché est d'à peine 24 000 km. Le compartiment moteur est très soigné et l'on trouve à l'avant un espace de rangement.

Rappelons que, seule Ferrari de série carrossée par Bertone d’après un dessin de Marcello Gandini, la 308 GT4 a l'avantage de combiner un moteur central et une configuration 2+2, qui permet d'emmener deux personnes de petite taille. Son moteur 3 litres de 255 ch accouplé à sa boîte cinq rapports en font une voiture aussi efficace qu'agréable. Restée longtemps dans l’ombre de sa sœur la 308 GTB, elle est un peu comme le bon vin et sa forme discrète se bonifie avec l’âge. La présente voiture, accompagnée d'un dossier de factures historiques, de nombreuses photos de la restauration de la carrosserie, ainsi que d’une fiche de puissance du moteur est une représentante de qualité de ce modèle de plus en plus recherché.

Completely restored between 2015 and 2017 with no expense spared and under the supervision of Fritz Neuser, this car is now in a desirable condition. Fritz Neuser was particularly fond of this car, which he had known for a long time as it was previously repaired following an accident in 1977 by Auto-Neuser, when the mileage was around 5,500 km. It then led a peaceful existence until its more recent restoration and remained in the Neuser collection ever since.

The red paintwork is immaculate with correctly aligned door panels and there are no signs of damage on the rims. As for the interior, the beige faux leather and fabric upholstery is particularly tasteful, just like the stunning dashboard with its seven dials located behind the steering wheel featuring a Dino badge. The car is equipped with air conditioning and has a mileage of just 24,000 km. The engine bay was very well cared for and a storage compartment can be found at the front.

It is worth noting that the 308 GT4 (the only production Ferrari with a Bertone bodywork based on a design by Marcello Gandini) has the benefit of combining a mid-engine layout with a 2+2 configuration, enabling it to carry two small passengers. Its 3-litre 255 hp engine coupled with a five-speed gearbox make it a car that is equally reliable and enjoyable to drive. Long overshadowed by its sister model (the 308 GTB), it is a bit like a fine wine and its discreet design has only improved with age. Accompanied by a file of original invoices, numerous pictures of the bodywork restoration and an engine power data sheet, this car is a fine example of this increasingly sought-after model.
