Selon le duplicata officiel de son carnet d'entretien, cette Ferrari 456 M GT a été livrée neuve le 8 mars 1999. Comme en témoigne l'autocollant apposé dans le compartiment moteur, elle était de teinte "Grigio Titanio 3238", qui est encore la sienne aujourd'hui. Une attestation datée du 5 octobre 2001 de Ferrari Rosenmaier, de Markgröningen, précise que, le 22 novembre 2000, le compteur kilométrique défaillant a été remplacé. Il indiquait alors 11 170 km, chiffre qui doit être ajouté à celui qui s'affiche pour connaître le kilométrage réel de la voiture. Ce dernier était de 63 500 km en 2023 lors de son achat par la Scuderia Neuser et n’a pas évolué depuis. Comme on peut le voir sur le carnet et dans le dossier de factures, la voiture a été révisée dernièrement, en 2021, chez le garage Ferrari officiel Autohaus Blöchl, qui l’a ensuite vendu à Fritz Neuser.

La présentation actuelle est très satisfaisante, avec sa belle teinte d'origine bien préservée. L'intérieur en cuir noir reflète une excellente qualité de fabrication et la seule réserve concerne le revêtement de la console qui se décolle légèrement sur les côtés. La voiture est équipée d'un téléphone Bosch filaire, amusante anomalie rappelant que le téléphone portable n'a pas toujours existé.

Avec son dessin Pininfarina sobre et élégant, la 456 M renouait avec la tradition du V12 avant, et ses 442 ch lui permettaient d'accélérer de 50 à 300 km/h en sixième en passant par toutes les modulations de sonorité. La 456 s'est bâtie une réputation justifiée de grande routière aux qualités exemplaires, sans équivalent. Celle que nous présentons est, par son état, un hommage à ce modèle de grande classe

According to its official duplicate service book, this Ferrari 456 M GT was supplied new on 8 March 1999. As the sticker in the engine compartment indicates, it was finished in ‘Grigio Titanio 3238’, as it still is today. A declaration dated 5 October 2001 from Ferrari Rosenmaier in Markgröningen states that on 22 November 2000 the faulty odometer was replaced. At the time, this was reading 11,170km, so this should be added to the current figure to determine the car’s actual mileage. This amounted to 63,500km in 2023, when the Scuderia Neuser bought the car, and has not increased since. As can be seen from the service book and file of invoices, the car had recently been serviced, in 2021, by the official Ferrari dealer Autohaus Blöchl, which subsequently sold it to Fritz Neuser.

Its current condition is very satisfactory, and its attractive original colour has been well preserved. The black leather interior shows a high standard of workmanship, and the only reservation concerns the covering of the centre console, which is coming slightly unstuck on the sides. The car is equipped with a Bosch in-car telephone, a quirky and amusing reminder that mobile phones have not always existed.

 

With its elegant and understated design by Pininfarina, the 456 M revived Ferrari’s tradition of front-engined V12s, and with 442bhp it could accelerate from 50–300km/h in sixth gear in a constantly changing symphony of sound. The 456 has established a well-deserved reputation as an exemplary and unrivalled grand tourer. Thanks to its condition, the model we are presenting is a tribute to this high-quality motorcar.
