Particulièrement raffinées et élégantes, le cadran est dissimulé derrière des volets qui s’ouvre en exerçant une pression aux extrémités du boîtier. La variété des pièces produites est magnifiquement illustrée dans l’ouvrage de référence « L’Univers de Vacheron Constantin ». Cette pièce, est est un très bel exemple de montres « Surprise ». Le mouvement, manufacturé en 1929, fut vendu au fabricant Verger Frères à qui l’ont doit la réalisation du boîtier.
