Bought at auction at Rétromobile in 2009 by the Motor Museum of Château de Vernon, this curious vehicle probably dates back to the 1980s and is believed to have been used by Ayrton Senna to transport the Camel cigarette sponsors at Formula 1 tracks. With its livery recalling the cigarette brand and ‘Joe Camel’ mascot, it has two seats in tandem and is powered by a 350cc motorcycle engine. It is in used condition and will need to be serviced before being driven. An example of politically incorrect advertising art and witness to a time when cigarette companies were major sponsors of Formula 1, this distinctive vehicle is a true museum piece.
