A 17th century carved walnut buffet a deux corps


CONDITION REPORT :

Good overall condition despite the inevitable shocks and marks in accordance with age and use. Some normal scattered shocks and losses to the carving in places. Few losses to some sections of the moulded frieze decorating the external areas of the cabinet (plinth/central drawers). Traces of gouging in places. Accidents to the rear left hand side area of the cabinet. Accident to the hinges of the right hand side lower panel. Scratches to the rear left hand side corner of the tray. The pediment is later. Charming model.
