An Empire gilt-bronze mounted and mahogany commode

CONDITION REPORT :

Good overall condition despite the inevitable shocks and marks in accordance with age and use. No obvious accidents or visually distressing losses. Good overall condition of the associated marble top. A couple of the gilt-mounts are associated, as stated in the catalogue description. Few traces of restorations to the veneer in places by means of replacements to one very small section of the upper drawer. Some old splits on both sides of the commode have been filled in. Decorative model. Ready to be displayed.
