A Louis XVI provincial gilt-metal mounted, mahogany and ebonised cylinder desk

CONDITON REPORT :

Good overall condition despite the inevitable shocks and marks in accordance with age and use. One vertical split to the veneer on both sides of the cylinder desk. Some dents to the cornice in places such as to the corners as well as to the columns in the upper area of the desk. Some small shocks to the exposed areas of the uprights. The shelves are missing. Charming and decorative piece. Ready to be displayed.
