A Louis XVI gilt-bronze mounted and ebonised bureau plat, together with a Directoire style beechwood chair

CONDITION REPORT :
Desk : Fair overall condition. Losses to the varnish of the ebonised in places. Scattered extensive scratches, marks and traces of gouging to the desk's top as well as to the four sides. Few losses to the central drawer (two upper corners and to the lower left hand side corner). Accident to the moulding decorating the front left hand side corner of the desk's top (area above the front left hand side leg). The gilt bronze mount decorating the central drawer is missing.
Chair : Good overall condition. Firm and sound construction. No obvious visually distressing accidents. Wears to the upholstery.
