A Louis XVI ormolu-mounted and white marble mantel-clock

CONDITION REPORT :
Good overall condition despite the inevitable shocks and marks in accordance with age and use. Some wears to the gilding which is tarnished in exposed areas, as expected. Few scratches to the dial's enamel. Some chips to the marble base in places. Traces of previous accidents and restorations to the front right hand side corner of the marble base. The frieze surrounding the marble base is slightly loosed and could benefit from strenghthening. One of the gilt-bronze plates decorating the right hand side of the mantel clock detaches itself and would benefit from consolidation. The half-moon ornement previously decorating Diana's head is now missing.
Fitted with key and pendulum. Please note that we do not guarantee the working order of the movement. Highly decorative and elegant model.
