This copy, numbered 720, is one of 10,000 copies worldwide, all numbered and signed by the artist. This unique publication by June Newton, Helmut Newton’s wife (known professionally as Alice Springs), features a selection of more than 400 photographs by her husband, taken over a period of forty years, in color and black-and-white, most of which have never been published before. It includes his nudes, fashion photographs, and portraits of celebrities. This edition was initially printed in a run of 2,000 copies, available in late 1999; the remaining 8,000 were scheduled for April 2000.
