This car is a Jaguar C-Type ‘Heritage’, a replica built by Realm Engineering in England to a very high standard. It is made up of a tubular structure with a steel bulkhead and aluminium floor panels, housing a 6-cylinder XK engine fed by three twin-choke Weber carburettors and fitted with a special exhaust. The body, which retains the styling of the original C-Type, is made from composite materials, mainly polyester, with some aluminium parts such as the louvred panels riveted onto the bonnet. The bonnet tilts forward in one piece, as on the original car, and a small perspex aero screen serves as a windshield. The interior is reduced to the bare minimum, as befits a car designed for competition, with the instruments on the dashboard grouped together behind the big wood-rimmed steering wheel, and very attractive bucket seats trimmed in the same leather used to cover the transmission tunnel. The car is attractively presented in Scottish Blue, and in 2009 and 2010, the brakes, transmission and many other details were attended to by the Atelier des Coteaux so that the standard of finish of this replica should be one of its major qualities (bills for 34,400 €). In 2016, it was given a complete mechanical overhaul in Germany. It is in good overall condition and has taken on the identity and chassis number of a Jaguar donor car from 1971.
