- Extremely rare European version, manual gearbox
- Less than 22,900 km since new
- Sold new in Austria, Service logbook
As a genuine Aston Martin model from the Newport Pagnell factory era, the Virage Volante is one of the brand’s most iconic and powerful convertibles. This particular example is exceptional in so many ways: to start with, it was sold new in Austria on the 2nd August 1993 by Garage De Cilia in Landskron and was originally intended for the continental European market (rather than being a later conversion as is sometimes seen). It’s also a left-hand drive and is fitted with a five-speed manual transmission, allowing for a more engaging driving experience that perfectly suits the 5.3-litre V8 engine and the 310 hp.
This is also an extremely rare configuration, with only around 18 examples produced. Finally, this Virage Volante has a remarkably low mileage of 22,851 km since new, consistent with its immaculate condition. The green paintwork of this four-seats convertible beautifully complements its elegant design, while the interior, trimmed entirely in white leather with green finishes, conveys a strong sense of luxury and comfort, further enhanced by superb wood veneers. This car has recently been serviced and is accompanied by its original service logbook, as well as a TÜV inspection certificate confirming its technical compliance. It is equipped with a Sony laser radio, as well as electric and heated front seats. With its manual transmission, very low mileage and superb condition, this Virage Volante is unquestionably one of the most exclusive examples of its kind and will undoubtedly attract the attention of the most discerning enthusiasts.
