With 421 units produced between 1979 and 1984 and equipped with a manual transmission, the 400i is rare and highly sought-after. It is sold new in Italy in a rare sky blue colour combination, with the upholstery in navy blue leather (seats and dashboard) and body-coloured carpets making it the pinnacle of elegance and uniqueness. Interesting information: the price of a new 400i was once 310,000 FF against 330,000 FF for a Ferrari 512 BB! Naturally, the V12 towards the front is a real treat and does offer a fun driving experience. The torque of the 400 guarantees exceptional driving comfort and its four seats make it possible to bring an entire family along for a ride at nearly 250 km/h (on the track, of course!). The Ferrari Rossocorsa dealership in Milan carried out major work in 2013 (invoice provided). It was in the same year the current owner got his hands on it before joining the Ferrari Club 400, hosted by a well-known French journalist who is an avid fan of the model. Regularly maintained, with its most recent full service carried out in 2024 at Ferrari Monaco, this beautiful 400 regularly takes part in rallies organized by the Club. Accompanied by its toolkit, invoices and driver's manual, this 400i boasting a sleek design is a classic of the 1980s that is gaining increasing attention among collectors.
