- Less than 60,000 km since new
- The rarest of the A 610 models, only 2 examples!
- Superb original condition, continuous history
- No reserve
In 1992, France hosted the Winter Olympics in Albertville, a momentous event of which Renault was an official partner. This provided an opportunity for La Régie to produce limited editions of its most iconic models: Clio, R19, R21, R25, Espace, etc. But also two examples of the Alpine A610, intended for transporting VIPs during the Olympic Games, making this limited edition of the A610 the rarest of all, out of a limited production run of just 818 units.
This particular model was sold in Angers as an almost-new car after the sporting event, before being owned by two other owners in the Allier region, the last of whom lent it to Renault Classic to be put on display at the Retromobile show in 2017. Its extremely limited number of owners and regular servicing (as evidenced by its original service logbook) explain its superb original condition (only the front grille was repainted) and low mileage: just 59,132 km at the time of our photo shoot. The car comes with all its logbooks, spare keys and even official Albertville Olympic Games pins. There is also a signature badge for this special version affixed to the boot and, in line with the original finish, it is equipped with a car radio. This is a unique opportunity to acquire the most exclusive car from the Dieppe-based manufacturer, particularly in this original ‘Blanc Gardenia’ colour scheme with grey leather interior and electric blue piping, only available on these two examples!
