The distinctive form of this ewer, particularly its complex handle, is associated with the production of the Kütahya kilns in the second half of the eighteenth century. Several examples are preserved in the collection of the Sadberk Hanım Museum in Istanbul (inv. SHM 9315-P.237 and 11816-P.483; see Hülya Bilgi, Sadberk Hanım Museum Kütahya Tiles and Ceramics Collection, Istanbul, 2018, cats. 147–148, pp. 314–17).
