- Almost €50,000 in recent invoices
- Only 433 examples produced
- Assembled by hand, the pinnacle of luxury
After leaving the factory on the 27th October 1990, this Bentley Continental Convertible was delivered new to the United States, before returning to Europe in 2019. It was then sold to a French collector who entrusted its servicing it to Prestige Automotiv, a company based in Roanne whose founder, Nicola Goujat, chose to specialise in Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars out of passion.
Initially impressed by the car’s presentation and mechanical condition, Prestige Automotiv then discovered that the car was involved in a low-speed front collision. The owner agreed to get it repaired, which was done professionally and included the removal of the engine and the transmission, as well as the replacement of the two front stringers with new ones supplied by Bentley. This major project was also an opportunity to change all wearable parts that could be replaced (radiator, shock absorbers, etc.) and to review the operation of all mechanical components with the aim of making the car fully reliable.
After more than 200m hours and €50,000 of work, this Bentley Continental was returned to its owner in the spring of 2022, the latter has since been able to drive 5,000 km in total relaxation.
This car is today in perfect condition and in addition to its beautiful external appearance, it handles magnificently on the road. The gorgeous black paintwork matches perfectly with the beige leather upholstery, which has a lovely suppleness and softness alongside the woodwork in very good condition. The matching soft top works perfectly, as well as the equipment onboard such as the original car radio.
Similar to the Rolls-Royce Corniche III, this Bentley Continental was at the time one of the most expensive cars on the market, if not the most expensive. Known as the pinnacle of luxury and refinement and assembled by hand, it is also a rare model with only 433 examples produced. Accompanied by an Inspection report from May 2024, a logbook, spare key and a file of invoices, this particular example in impeccable condition pays tribute to this very high-end model.
