Nicknamed the “Pagoda” due to the distinctive shape of its roof, reminiscent of Japanese architecture, this model is part of the great SL lineage at Mercedes and succeeded the 190 SL. Available with three engine types, this particular example is powered by the very robust 2.3L 6-cylinder engine, which does not require regular servicing. Including the bodywork and interior cosmetics, this 230 SL was fully restored by the previous owner.

The extensive file accompanying the car shows the quality and seriousness of the work carried out, not to mention the car itself which is in superb condition throughout. Its navy-blue interior, which includes the third seat at the back, matches the colour of the hard top. The interior is stunning and its grey carpets are of high quality. It also includes its original manual. Its current owner has owned it since 2020 and has serviced it at a specialised garage in Sainte-Maxime. It is equipped with its hard top, with the same high standards as the car itself.

Fitted with an automatic transmission, this 230 SL is comfortable and pleasantly easy to drive; it will be an ideal opportunity for you to access this legendary lineage of robust and high-performance convertible cars from the brand with the star, ready to be enjoyed on sunny summer roads.
