The Ferrari 275 GTB is one of the most desirable Berlinetta cars ever produced by the prancing horse brand. Its four-wheel independent suspension and its transmission connected to the rear axle were considered as major innovations, while the renowned “Colombo” V12 engine was increased to 3.3 litres and its performance output to 280 hp, enabling a top speed of 250 km/h. As for the bodywork of this mechanical gem, Pininfarina came up with a magnificent design combining elegance and sportiness, as well as a touch of aggressiveness provided by its long bonnet, its low roofline and its lateral air intakes reminiscent of the legendary 250 GTO.

Leaving the factory on the 11th March 1965, this particular Ferrari 275 GTB was delivered new to the J.H. Keller dealership in Zurich. It was painted in “Celeste” blue (19321M) combined with black Connolly leather upholstery and Campagnolo light-alloy wheels. Only two 275 GTBs were delivered in this elegant colour. Later sold in Germany, it was acquired in 1974 by Mr. Peter Klein, owner of a roofing and tiling company in Blumenthal, Germany. This wasn’t his first GTB, since he had already owned the GTB/4 #10115 which he sold in 1969. He kept #07037 until 1977, which is when it was listed for sale in the June and August issues of the German magazine “Auto, Motor & Sport”. It was presented as being in perfect condition at that time, with a mileage of 65,000 km.

The following year, it was sold to Mr. Rolf Schaefer from Cologne, who registered it “K-RE 275”. It was seen in 1989 at the Ferrari Club gathering at the Nurburgring Oldtimer Grand Prix and at the Essen Motor Show that same year. In 2004, the car joined Jean-Jacques Gaasch’s collection, an enthusiast from Luxembourg who registered it “95611”. He entrusted it to the Carrozzeria Auto Sport workshop in Modena. From then on, Jean-Jacques Gaasch participated in multiple historic racing events such as the Tour Auto (2007, 2008 and 2009 with Hubert Gaasch, 2012 with Guy Fawe), the Modena Cento Oro Classic in 2007 with Hubert Gaasch, the Zoute Grand Prix in 2011 with Michel Wellens and the FF60 gathering (to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Ecurie Francorchamps) in 2012 at Spa-Francorchamps.

Through Philippe Lanckweert, this Ferrari 275 GTB was sold in March 2013 to Eric Everard, founder of Artexis Group, an event management company based in Uccle, Belgium. This car was delivered to him on the 23rd March 2013 during a track day at Spa-Francorchamps, circuit where it returned two months later (in May) to race in the Spa Classic in the hands of its owner, alongside his co-driver Christophe van Riet. The duo also took part in the 2013 Dix Mille Tours du Castellet. Eric Everard then participated in the Tour Auto in 2014, 2015 and 2017, as well as the Spa Classic in 2014. In 2019, this Ferrari 275 GTB was exhibited at the Techno Classica in Essen.

The Ferrari Classiche certification confirms that this car retains its original chassis, bodywork and engine. Between 2020 and 2023, it had a full restoration carried out. The bodywork was entrusted to the Scartapatti workshops in San Georgio Bigarello (Italy), who restored it completely and got it repainted in its original Celeste colour, with invoices totalling €163,200. The engine was rebuilt by Roelofs Engineering in the Netherlands for a total of €110,000 and the gearbox was restored at FMA in Wijnegem (also in the Netherlands) for €31,700. A substantial file of invoices and pictures attests to the high-quality restoration of this 275. You only have to see it to appreciate the perfection of the bodywork, the interior and to try it out to appreciate its truly optimal operation, with no vibrations, very well balanced, and on which the running gear has been very well adjusted. It was finally acquired by the current owner, who fell in love with its colour combination, from the dealer Gregor Fisken in England.

As of today, this car is truly in exceptional condition. Everything has now been done so that it can be fully driven and enjoyed with its 280 hp. Restored with great care to its extremely rare original colour and beautifully showcasing its lines, it has an extensive and consistent history in the hands of passionate and meticulous collectors. A report has been drawn up by Marcel Massini and is available to anyone interested. An archetype of the Italian Grand Touring Berlinetta, combining refined engineering, high-level performance and elegant design, it is an ideal passport to be welcomed at the finest classic car events, while also being an incomparable companion for casual drives or road trips.
