Launched in Geneva in 1993, the all-wheel drive version of the Diablo (known as the VT) was a step ahead of its rivals with its 492 hp V12 engine and its breathtaking handling. Designed by Marcello Gandini, its sculptural lines offered as much pleasure at a standstill as the roar of the V12 engine in full action, which enabled it to shift into 5th gear at 280 km/h) and easily reach a top speed of 330 km/h.

This particular example was sold new in Germany on the 9th October 1996, by the Auto Koenig establishment in Munich. Its first owner chose a colour combination of rare elegance: metallic agate grey for the bodywork combined with cream leather interior. This Diablo was tracked in Germany until 2003 when the total mileage was at

25,000 km, as evidenced by its service logbook. It was then purchased by a woman in the Poitiers region from a professional Lamborghini connoisseur in Cannes, when it then displayed 34,500 km on the clock.

In 2015, it was entrusted to Garage Bourgoin in Poitiers for a 36,000 km service and an anti-rust treatment on several parts. Now with a mileage of 40,800 km since new and repainted in its original colour, this example will require a service – as per the manufacturer’s recommendations, in order to benefit from its full capabilities. The current owner recently had the superb 17-inch OZ Racing wheels refurbished, fitted as it should with 2024 Pirelli P-ZERO tyres. Inside, you’ll find the leather folder which contains the logbooks and in the front compartment, you can find the tool kit and the CD changer connected to the Pioneer car radio. Today, the Diablo VT remains accessible compared to other Supercars of its generation, which it already surpassed when it was first launched; take full advantage of this injustice, as it will not last forever.
