A terracotta bust probably depicting the portrait of the General Guillaume-Marie-Anne Brune (1763-1815), French, 1794

Comme Brune ne porte pas l'uniforme de maréchal, le buste a certainement été réalisé en 1794 avant son sa nomination du 18 mai 1804. Après la défaite de Napoléon à Waterloo en 1815, Brune fut assassiné par une foule royaliste.
