On Tuesday, 22nd September, the collection Le goût Rothschild en héritage. Un pied-à-terre sur le Champ-de-Mars (The Rothschild Taste Legacy: A foothold on the Champ-de-Mars) was auctioned before a packed saleroom. With 100% of lots sold, the sale achieved €4,387,135. 

Among the highlights of the sale, the pair of 18th-century Sèvres porcelain oval-shaped verrieres, from the mythological service of King Louis XVI, sold for €926,800 and was pre-empted by the Musée national du château de Versailles.
