The new season begins at Artcurial

Artcurial invites you to discover the calendar of events for the next six months, which promises to be rich: themed design sales, a unique collection from the Univers du Ritz, the Marie and Félix Bracquemond collection, a masterpiece by the sculptor Germaine Richier from a private French collection, the traditional Un Hiver Marocain sale, an event sale celebrating the 18th century with the Pierre Jourdan-Barry collection, and the unmissable Monaco Auction Week.

To begin the semester, Artcurial once again celebrates the excellence and refinement of the Universes of the Ritz Paris. A selection of nearly 1,500 lots illustrates the richness and eclecticism of the iconic Place Vendôme hotel.

Marie Bracquemond
Sur la terrasse de La Chabanne

Following on the success of the first Marie & Félix Bracquemond sale, this new auction will feature 200 hundred works: oils on canvas, watercolors, studies and preparatory drawings. All testify to the prolific and eclectic work of this singular Impressionist couple.

This autumn, Artcurial highlights the design and creations from the 80s with its Sweat Dreams sale. The lyrics of the iconic 80s song sum up a multi-faceted era that stimulated the creativity of younger generations. Genres were decompartmentalized, styles mixed and forms multiplied in a frenzy of varied expressions. The Sweet Dreams sale reflects this prolific decade for artists and designers.

As the year draws to a close, Artcurial will be celebrating the 18th century, a period when the refinement of decorative arts in France reached its peak. From miniature portraits from the Pierre Jourdan-Barry Collection to an exceptional pair of silver cruets from the prestigious Penthièvre-Orléans service will be on sale.
