The Swiss Red Cross Gala was first held in Geneva. It has since become an important source of funding for national and international programs of the Swiss and Geneva Red Cross societies supporting people in need.

The Swiss Red Cross Gala was first held in Geneva. It has since become an important source of funding for national and international programs of the Swiss and Geneva Red Cross societies supporting people in need.

A joint event organized by the Swiss Red Cross and the Geneva Red Cross, the Red Cross Ball is held each year in Henri Dunant’s home town. It is attended by around 500 Swiss and international celebrities each committed to raising funds to help the most disadvantaged sectors of the world’s population. It is a unique opportunity for all those attending the gala to actively support the Red Cross Movement’s missions and campaigns.

Bal 2019

In 2019 the Red Cross Ball intends to enable the Swiss Red Cross to develop its programs in Armenia and expand its support for the elderly, handicapped and chronically sick persons living in rural regions.

They will focus on improving access to good quality healthcare and care services for the elderly and handicapped people, on helping the Armenian Red Cross to improve its organization and facilities, setting up services for the elderly, handicapped and chronically sick and launch a new community services for care and assistance at home in Armenia. They will train the elderly to become volunteers as well as bringing together young people and the elderly.

Artcurial is proud to support  the Swiss Red Cross Ball in Geneva. The event will take place on Saturday 12 October. Stephane Aubert and Geoffroy Ader will conduct the live auction to raise funds to benefit these programs in Armenia.
