Our Highlights
Among the highlights of the year, several events left a particularly strong mark on Artcurial. On April 30th in Paris, the sale Entre Ciel & Terre – Masterpieces from a French Collection was a great success, notably with Pieter Brueghel the Younger’s La moisson, Allégorie de l'Eté, which achieved €2,902,400.

On June 12th, Artcurial had the honor of hosting the handover of the original manuscript of the Appeal of 18th June to the French National Archives by the grandchildren of General de Gaulle.

To mark the centenary of the birth of Philippe Hiquily, a cultural exhibition was organized in Paris in September, in collaboration with the Hiquily Committee. It presented an overview of the artist’s work in dialogue with Sepik artifacts and objects from the Kanak people, both of which were dear to the artist.

In October, alongside Art Basel, the Selected 20/21 sale brought together numerous collectors and enthusiasts of modern and contemporary art. On this occasion, a set of two bronzes by Alberto Giacometti was sold for €2,189,600.

Finally, in December, Artcurial organized the world’s first Haute pâtisserie auction, in collaboration with Pierre Hermé, bringing together 25 pastry chefs committed to supporting children, combining gastronomy and solidarity.

The Artcurial Group

In 2025, the Artcurial Group, the European leader in the intermediation of exceptional assets, achieved a record consolidated turnover of €1.75 billion, bringing together three complementary entities: Artcurial, John Taylor, a specialist in luxury real estate, and Arqana, the leading auction house for thoroughbred horses.

The John Taylor Group further strengthened its leading position with the opening of new agencies in Marseille, Cyprus, Nyon, and Saint Barthélemy, as well as a strategic re-establishment in Geneva. A new agency was also opened within the La Mamounia hotel  in Marrakech, while expansion in the Middle East continues.

The teams at Artcurial thank you for your trust and loyalty throughout the year and look forward to welcoming you from January 2026 with auctions dedicated to Important Watches and Jewelry during the Paris Luxury Days, as well as a new exceptional Automobiles Legends auction at The Peninsula Paris.
