As part of Geneva Art Week, Artcurial Beurret Bailly Widmer invites you to its Geneva premises for a discussion with Swiss sculptor Yves Dana. The artist will engage in a conversation with Nadja Scribante Amstutz, Head of Swiss Romandy at Artcurial Beurret Bailly Widmer, discussing his background, artistic approach, and body of work. This exchange will offer the audience a unique opportunity to interact with the artist in an intimate setting.

Born in 1959 in Alexandria, Yves Dana moved to Switzerland in 1961. Since 1968, he has devoted himself entirely to sculpture. In 1996, a six-month stay in Egypt, his native country, marked an aesthetic turning point and the beginning of the “Stèles” series, known for their clean, hieratic forms. Starting in 1998, he began working with stone, opening a new chapter in his artistic journey. His creations in iron, stone, and bronze highlight different stages of his work.
