WORLD RECORD FOR AN ARTWORK BY THE ARTIST
At the Old Master & 19th Century Drawings auction, the standout result was achieved by Jacopo Ligozzi with Dante and Virgil before the Tribunal of Minos, which sparked an intense bidding battle and reached €820,880, eight times its estimate, thus setting a new world record for the artist.

The preparatory study by Baron Gros depicting Bonaparte at the Bridge of Arcole, an unpublished drawing related to the Versailles painting and kept within the Camuccini family since the 18th century, was sold for €225,080.
The Paintings & Sculptures auction highlighted Augustin Pajou with a terracotta bust sold for €417,060, more than six times its estimate, as well as a painting by Jacob Savery, Orpheus Charming the Animals, which reached €423,680.
