1993 Ferrari 512 TR Pininfarina
The incredible thing about this car is that it has belonged to Thierry Dehaeck since it was new. In 1991, he actually ordered a 348 TS from the Ferrari dealer Monza NV, in Sint-Martens-Latem in Belgium, but when he visited the Brussels Motor Show in January 1992, he stopped in his tracks on seeing the impressive 512 TR, which immediately bowled him over. He asked the owner of the dealership if he could change his original order in favour of the V12-engined berlinetta, and this was agreed. The following year, on 1 June 1993, he took delivery of his 512 TR, for which he was billed 6,763,700 Belgian francs.
In October 1993, Dehaeck joined the Club Ferrari Belgio and in June 1997, he took part with his 512 TR in the driving school ‘Pilota Ferrari Mugello’. Since then, the berlinetta has taken part in various concours d'élégance and rallies, while also being used to promote Dehaeck’s company Pidy, taking customers for passenger rides, the car always being driven by a professional driver.
Regularly maintained by the official dealer Monza NV, the car was given a major service in 2020, when the timing belts and head gaskets were replaced and the gearbox rebuilt, for a total of nearly 60,000€. It will be sold with all its equipment and original documents: the order form and sales invoice, service book and bills, Ferrari Classiche certification, a catalogue from the period, numerous articles and photographs, a FIVA ID card, its original tool kit and fitted luggage …
Between January and March 2026, the car was given a mechanical overhaul by the specialist Mistral Classic: the engine was removed and the cooling system overhauled, while the timing belt and the gasket for the left-hand cam cover were replaced. With 53,500km now recorded and in near-new condition, this car represents an extremely rare opportunity to buy a one-owner 512 TR that has been so well preserved from new.
