L’élégant Roadster que nous présenté appartient à la série 1, mais appelé officieusement série 1 ½ car il inaugure certaines modifications esthétiques de la série 2 comme les phares non-couverts et un nouvel intérieur, tout en finissant d’utiliser les stocks de pièces de série 1 (pare-chocs, clignotants fins, etc…). Ce modèle de transition est peu courant, et celui-ci est accompagné d’un rare hard-top. Il a été acheté par le père des actuels propriétaires en avril 1989, à un amateur de la Haute Marne que la possédait depuis 1987. D’une jolie teinte bleu ciel avec intérieur bleu, le beau roadster fut engagé à la Coupe des Alpes en 1997 et 2001, épreuve qu’affectionnait particulièrement son propriétaire. Arrêtée depuis 2008, elle devra bénéficier d’une remise en route et d’une révision complète avant de reprendre la route. Dans un état homogène, cette intéressante version 4.2 séduira les amateurs à la recherche d’un projet de remise en état, ceux-ci ne courant pas les rues.

This particular elegant Roadster is from the Series 1 but is unofficially referred to as the Series 1 ½, as it introduced certain design changes from the Series 2, such as non-covered headlights and a new interior, whilst still using Series 1 parts (bumpers, slim indicators, etc.). This transitional model is quite rare and this particular car comes with a rare hardtop. It was purchased by the current owners’ father in April 1989 from an enthusiast in the Haute-Marne region who had owned it since 1987. In a lovely sky-blue colour with a blue interior, this beautiful roadster took part in the Coupe des Alpes in 1997 and 2001, an event that was fondly appreciated by its owner. Having been off the road since 2008, it will need to be restarted and given a full service before hitting the road again. In a homogeneous condition, this interesting 4.2-litre version will appeal to enthusiasts looking for a restoration project, as these are rarely found nowadays.
